Nostr Event Kinds

Every Nostr event has a kind (integer) that defines its purpose. Regular events keep all history. Replaceable events keep only the latest per pubkey. Ephemeral events are not stored.

Event Category Rules

regularAll history kept. Kinds 1–9999 (non-replaceable). Clients see full timeline.
replaceableRelay keeps latest per pubkey. Kinds 0, 3, 10000–19999.
ephemeralNot stored. Kinds 20000–29999. Forwarded to subscribers only.
